I really got a kick out of Mark in junior high. We used to call him "Chili" because he had a "chili bowl" haircut. He was hilarious.

Mark was the glue that held the reunion committee together and it was January of 99 (planning our 20th)that we got the call that he had been killed in a plane crash. We were really lucky to have each other to lean on as obviously it was such a shock and such a loss. He was a great kidder, a great friend and one of the kindest persons I've ever known. He was also my first love in the 8th grade! Mark had many, many friends from many different venues....I'm not so sure he knew how many until after he was gone! We always drink a toast (sometimes 2 or 3!) to him at our reunion get-to-togethers! He will always hold a special place in our hearts and will never be forgotten.

Mark was always the hostess with the mostess no matter where we were. I miss his humor and easy going nature. He was a peacemaker of sorts and always wanted everybody to be happy. He was an awesome HUMAN and did much for many, never expecting a thank you and never wanting to be in the spot light of those good gestures. He did things because he wanted to.
I've been thinking about him a lot these last few days and can't get out of my mind something he would always say "No big deal"........

Mark was a aaaaaaaawesome guy, I'll never forget him. Knock Knock on Heaven's Door has been playing a lot lately; it makes me think of him.

I remember running into Mark several Years before the accident we talked a bit he seemed in good spirits and we laughed some about old times. He was a sincerely nice guy . I was shocked when I heard the news.
