Tom was one of my greatest friends in school. In fact we walked together in graduation. His off-beat look on life always shed a different, and more brilliant light on any situation.
It was impossible to spend time with Tom and not laugh. His Steve Martin impressions alone would make you laugh until your sides hurt. After graduation we each got apartments that were just a couple of miles apart. Sometimes we would grocery shop together. I remember Tom following behind me in the store juggling glass jars of pickles and doing Grocho Marx impressions.
I miss his wit, humor, and spirit. I'm sure heaven is enjoying his presence.
