Brent was a sweet guy and always a good friend to me. He and Karla were fun to watch back in their days of skating competition. I hope he found some kind of happiness in life. I won't forget him.
The world lost an incredibly unique soul on December 16, 1993. Brent was my best friend, worst critic, and soul mate. From the day we met at the drinking fountain at Skateland South just before 7th grade (and found out that we had been best friends in kindergarten before I moved to a different district!), through junior and senior high school, and well beyond, he was a huge part of my life. I am so blessed to have known and loved him, and carry him with me always.
