I spent 15 years in the Autobody Industry. My primary function was Refinish. I accepted a Technical position in 1997 with a company called Imperial Coatings, out of Slouh, England. In 1998 the company presented an offer, I could not refuse, in the Sales Division. My Division was purchased in 1999 by PPG Industries USA. PPG offered a Managers position which covered Louisiana, Mississippi and Easteren Texas. WOW what a culture Shock ! I commuted to this territory, every week for 3 months from Wichita, 2 day's prior to signing a contract on a home in Covington ( New Orleans ), PPG made a very attractive offer to Manage the Commercial Manufacturing business in KS., OK., Neb. and Western MO.. The decision was made easily. PPG bought our home and relocated the Family and I to KC MO. in 2000.
Kim gave up her 18 year career with KGE, Western Resouces. Kim has been employed in the Human Resource department at KU Medical Center since 2001. Kim's has multiple responsibility's. She Manages the Excecutive Retirement programs, Employee Retirement programs, Internal Wellness program and has been assigned as Project Manger for multiple internal projects.
Grand Kids are God's Reward. I borrow them for a few hours, spoil them, feed them full of sugar and then give them back! Now I understand what my Mother always said about " PayBack "
Kim and I will be married for 29 years in September. Nobody, I MEAN Nobody would have taken bets on that.
