Any of you reading this just please try to make it to our next reunion....before you just read past this, keep reading for a minute or two.... In the past 3 years I have lost 3 very dear friends of mine from our High School Days.

First of all, in August of 2008 Brad Delozier left this earth way too early due to a heart issues.

The next year, in June of 2009 another friend, Linda Parret Schnitzer, (she actually attended West High) - class of '80 - but we lost Linda to Cervical Cancer.

And, then, the one that I am still reeling from, my dear friend, David Dixon (also our class) - we lost Dave to a very rare, rapidly moving cancer on January 13, 2010.

Please, do not let anything keep you from coming next time. WE don't care if you've lost hair, gained weight, lost weight, don't make enough money, make too much money, have been in jail, or whatever your children are doing, have done, or might do....we just want to see you. This life really does not go on forever...and don't forget that, make sure you are right with the Lord as well. But...just come next time. Whenever that next time happens, COME!

And, lastly, call someone RIGHT NOW and tell them you love them. Don't let another minute go by. Be sure all those you love KNOW you love them. If you need to "make up" with someone, DO IT! Make sure you are right with everyone in your life. We had six weeks to say goodbye to Dave, but not Brad and I didn't know about LInda until 2 months later! Tell them NOW! Call them NOW!

WOW! As I update this, it's now 2014 and I've also lost BOTH My step-sisters as well, one to cancer and the other to a lung disease. My message is the same, don't let things go by. The time for us to be here is short. Hope to see you ALL this October at our 35th Reunion!
Class of 1979 - we are AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! Let's not leave this world without doing the important things, the things that REALLY MATTER!
