Hey ya'all...I hope all is well. Forty years ago we were all preparing for the next phase in our lives. Some were going to college. Some were getting married and settling into the life of bliss. Others were committing to the military (thank you all for your service). Some were ready for the full-time workforce. I know some were not ready for any of that and needed to explore the world before making any big plans. All of that was on our horizon. We were nearing the end of our required education. I can tell you this, I didn't realize at the time how much of what I thought I knew, how I felt and how much spending my first 17 years of life with many of you was going to impact my lifes journey. I wouldn't trade it for all the gold in Ft. Knox. I can't wait to see you all again. Please make every attempt to travel down memory lane. For many it might be the first reunion you have attended. For some it might be the last time we see one another. What ever the circumstance, I, for one, will be at our 40th reunion (about 35 pounds heavier if you can believe that) ready to catch up, share stories about Tim Mercer that might not be 100% accurate and just be present in the moment to soak up what ever takes place. See you all in September!!!
